In my time in Tokyo this past year, I have stayed in an apartment in Shibuya. I've been lucky enough to enjoy this world - famous neighbourhood in a new light. Usually, it is remembered for it's busy station, Shibuya crossing, it's many Times Square-type buildings and shopping centers,...
In this magazine I wanted to show the calmer, more residential side of this neighbourhood.
Why "yellow"?
In Japan, the colour yellow has caught my eye quite a bit. It comes up either in small pops or just in the general colour pallet of certain areas.
When taking these photos i took that into concideration and wanted to include yellow in different amounts, proportions, depths,.. throughout the photos.
