This project was in collaboration with Kinamania Footwear, an artisan shoe brand based in Brussels. The objective of this project was to dress the feet by revisiting a rubber boot using recycled plastics from our everyday lives. The only rule was we couldn’t glue or stitch.
It is a construction which mixes retro-futuristic and industrial inspirations with an anatomical approach, through cables, filaments and tubes. A brutalistic silhouette with more fluid details to creat a balance between human and machine. The additional flare is accentuated by the fine fluorescent lines
